4th Report in 2010: Current Situations and Policy Recommendations in Building Large Scientific Instrument Center and Analysis & Testing Center

Abstract: National large scientific instrument center and analysis & testing center (“the two centers”) are important parts in China’s comprehensive laboratory service system. Substantial social and economic benefits are derived from the development of the two centers and their increasing important role in major innovation programs. Based on surveys of the two centers, the article analyzes current situations of the centers, identifies problems, and proposes preliminary plan for future development.
